I offer a prayer 🙏

As stereotypical masculine traits dominate the narrative, we Need voices of reason to bring forth a balance, where patience, kindness and empathy, often more associated with the feminine, are prioritised.

In the current environment both men and women need to embrace and nurture these traits whatever our biological sex or gender alignment. Only then might we stand a better chance for creating harmonious outcomes.

When the shouting stops, the healing can start.

This piece works to promote the need for the dominant toxic masculine narrative to be superseded by voices more traditionally associated with the feminine.

It is an appeal, from a man’s perspective, to say to the world that softness doesn’t mean weakness.

I am an ardent believer that harmony between peoples is achievable through discussion, based on inclusiveness, kindness and trust - in much the same way that liberal modern western societies have benefited from the development and acceptance of race, sexual and gender based diversity.

This is an ongoing project - I am encouraging people to contribute words of kindness and positivity to this book 🙏
